$175K For Lead Paint Found in Child’s Blood

$175K For Child Exposed to Lead Paint from Rented Apartment

In 2011, our client, an infant and their family moved into an apartment owned by the defendant. When the infant plaintiff was tested for lead poisoning later that same year, he was found to have lead levels of 22 µg/dL in his blood. It turned out that the child was exposed to lead and/or lead-based paint during their entire time of living in that residence. We settled the case for a sum of $175,000.
