New York Post Reports Harlem Gas Explosion Victim Represented by Ronemus & Vilensky

March 17, 2014

Julia Marsh from the New York Post, reporting on the recent deadly gas explosion in Harlem that leveled two apartment buildings and killed at least eight people, noted that a 20-year-old high school student was thrown from his seat on a passing bus due to the impact of the explosion. His attorney, Robert Vilensky, of Ronemus and Vilensky said that the city is responsible for protecting people and that officials should have inspected the over 125-year-old gas lines. Robert Vilensky’s client was taken to an area hospital and was treated for broken blood vessels and torn ligaments. The force of the blast not only shattered the bus’ windows but lifted him off his seat and threw him against the interior of the bus.
